This is a list of frequently asked about products I use and love.  Please note that while these are affiliate links, these are products I use personally and adore!

 

IPAD LETTERING

Paperlike Ipad Screen Protector:  I originally was introduced to this Ipad screen protector by a friend, and at the time, I was only able to locate it on eBay with it shipping from Japan or Taiwan. I wasn't able to find a seller who sold them stateside.  Amazon has recently started carrying them and HOOLLLAAHHH its a prime item!  I've seen less stellar paper-like covers but swear by this particular brand. (note, the packaging is all in Japanese) 

 

CHALK LETTERING

Crayola Chalk- I don't like using the "dustless" chalk. Just the plain old Chalk is good!

Crayola Color Chalk - These pigments are fantastic and in a really versatile assortment...and yes, there is black chalk!

Felt Eraser

Microfiber Cloth (this is a 50 pack.... can't ever have too many of these around the house!)

Chalkboards -The boards we used in class are MDF from Lowes +Home Depot with chalk paint on them. If you want to make your own using MDF, or if you need to resurface your chalkboard, I prefer Valspar Chalk Paint (tintable). 

• If you plan on purchasing a ready-made board, I like Versa Chalk Brand because it works with chalk as well as chalk markers and the ink actually comes off.
• This is the A-Frame I always recommend to my business clients
• This is the board I always recommend for folks who want to do chalk lettering at home.

  
Chalk Markers: And if you are really hurting to use chalk pens on these boards, I love love love Versachalk's Classic colors. They aren't neon, or overly colorful, but a more muted tone for the perfect rustic look.

Magic Eraser style foam block-  Use dry as a mild abrasive, use wet for a deep clean of your board

Sealant- Garnier Fructose Full Control Aerosol Hairspray.  It has to be this one. Other brands or versions are too oily or sticky and can ruin the surface of your board.

 

Tools for my Wanderlust Passport

Fuji Instax Printer: I love this thing. This is what I use to print photos from my camera roll and tape or glue into my passport.  This allows me to pick my absolute favorite photos from a thousand photos in my phone.  The print quality is amazing and it's so much better than carrying around an Instax polaroid camera.

 

Harriet Approved Goodies

k9 Sport Sack: I love this bag. It's what I use to carry Harriet in. And she LOVES it. I use the size Large. She measures 21" from collar to base of tail, and is approx 24 lbs.
